Tab's identity in a form you can drop straight into a deck, an integration partner page, or a news story. Use the marks as-is — don't recolor, distort, or pair with conflicting type.
The name
Tab— always capitalised, never "TAB" or "tab". Single word, no "Labs" or "Protocol" suffix. The handle prefix is the literal @ symbol — @designstudio, not tab:designstudio. Other product names: TabBot, OpenTab, TabRouter, TabHandle. All camel-case, no spaces.

Typography
System font stack — no web fonts, no FOIT. Headlines use font-bold tracking-tight, body uses font-normal. Numeric data uses tabular-nums so payments line up.
Voice
- Direct. Short sentences. Active voice. Never marketing-speak.
- Concrete over abstract — "Tab settles in two seconds" beats "Tab is fast."
- Tell the user what they get and what we won't do for them. The walkaway test is the canonical example.
- No emoji except check marks (✓), arrows (→), and section dingbats in product UI. Never in long-form prose.
Don'ts
- Don't recolor the wordmark.
- Don't add a gradient.
- Don't imply a partnership or endorsement Tab hasn't confirmed in writing.
- Don't use the Tab marks to identify your own product — integrations should say "Powered by Tab" or "Pay with Tab," never "Tab Checkout for <your brand>."
